Tips for Styling the Ultimate Holiday Bar Cart | Jackson Morgan Whiskey

Decorating for the holidays is definitely my favorite time of year. I love entertaining friends, and adding a festive touch to all of the details (check-out more entertaining posts here). Recently, I invited some friends over to kick off the holiday break and catch up! This gold bar cart always comes in handy, and if you don’t have one , I highly recommend adding one to your home. So many amazing options under $100. In today’s post, I’m going to share some tips to styling the ultimate holiday bar cart! Bonus: most things are already in your home.

HOW TO STYLE A HOLIDAY BAR CART

HAVE A SIGNATURE COCKTAIL

First and foremost, cocktails. Duh! I’m all about simple, festive and delicious. I recently discovered the Jackson Morgan Peppermint Mocha Southern Cream and it’s seriously to die for! {ICYMI: I also shared a yummy salted caramel coffee recipe using only 2 ingredients!} I decided to make the Peppermint White Russian as the signature cocktail and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. Will keep you cozier than a crackling fire! I added cute jingle bell stirrers (found at Target for a steal!) and faux mini wreaths to dress up the bottle. Aren’t they darling?

RECIPE: 2 parts Jackson Morgan Peppermint Mocha, 1 part vodka, shake in a cocktail shaker, and pour over ice! It’s that easy! Find more recipes on Jackson Morgan’s website.

ADD HOLIDAY DECOR

Is there anything better than garland? Always makes any space so festive and decorative! I just draped this faux garland around my cart, and it makes such a big difference. Another easy idea is to put a set of battery powered Christmas lights in a glass jar – lights up the space, and sets the mood. Lastly, I added some gold candle sticks to fill in the empty spots. Again, all of these items were things I already own. Drape some faux fur blankets on the floor for a cozy holiday mood. Place the bar cart near the tree for the ultimate backdrop. I just love having the fire on while drinks are flowing.

ADD A LETTER BOARD

Letter boards are my obsession these days! I used one for Harlow’s monthly photos (check Instagram!) and they’re such a fun addition to decor. You can get really clever with the sayings, but I went with Jackson Morgan’s catchphrase for the holidays’ Sip and Be Social — love that!

STACK BOOKS

My go-to with styling bar carts is stacking books. I always find that books add such a chic touch. Again, another item you already have around the house and they always make the biggest difference!
