Happy New Year! I hope everyone started the year off strong! If not, there’s 357 days left to make it count. During this time of year, we get inundated with health tips, goals, resolutions, etc — wanted to start the year off simple. Chicago saw record breaking temps over the weekend, so thought I’d venture to my favorite outdoor mall and treat myself. Below, I’m sharing some of my favorite currents at Nordstrom. CASLON OPEN FRONT POCKET CARDIGAN IN MULTI PINK STRIPE | WEARING MEDIUM
Who doesn’t love stripes? Thought this cardigan was super fun for spring — soft, versatile and plain ‘ole cute. Pair with denim, a white tee or tie around waist for an extra pop of color. They have multiple colors (including the blue below). This one is going quickly, so definitely order ASAP! Runs a little large, but went with my normal size and I liked the fit.

Same cardigan as above, just a different color. The white is definitely dreamy, too! Would be a cute addition to your spring break getaway.

I’m a big fan of the Caslon brand. The material is uber soft, and it’s flattering on every figure. I was in need of a long white tee (mine get ruined so quickly with a baby!) and I couldn’t turn down the price. Also comes in 6 colors, and the striped is a second favorite, of course.
MADEWELL EYELET DOUBLE TIE PEASANT TOP | WEARING MEDIUM
I can’t seem to have enough eyelet lace in my wardrobe. The ‘carrot cake’ color is flattering, and the billowy sleeves are extra flirty. This one also comes in 2 colors! Fits true to size, wearing my regular medium size top.

These fit like a glove, y’all. The truth is, I wasn’t even on the hunt for black denim until I tried these on, of course. The fringe hems give the ultimate throwback style, and the stretchy high-rise fit is fit for a mama. Versatile, and my favorite purchase of the day. Can’t wait to throw these on with some slides! I’m wearing a size 30, and could have probably gone down a size. I am on a new diet/work-out regimen, but hoping the stretchy will mold as I drop the LB’S!

A cute option paired with denim shorts and sneaks! Oh, and ‘all the love’ is definitely a great motto for 2019! Wearing a size medium.
COLORBLOCK DRESS | WEARING SIZE 8
I couldn’t resist trying this fun number on. Love me some pink/red (Valentines day, anyone?) and would be a cute vacay addition for a night on the town. The material is silky, and feels really comfortable. I tried on the 8, but I have larger hips (they got even bigger post Harlow!) but could have gotten away with a 6. Definitely sized normally! A cute dress for under $100!

A cute velvet party-top, or casual day/day. I am very self-conscious about my arms, and this tank top makes them look a bit more flattering! Comes in 4 colors, but I just fell in love with the ‘green cress’ although the pink mesa looks super pretty, too! May have to get both colors. Ya?
BP. SPLIT NECK VELOUR TOP | WEARING MEDIUM
I thought this was cute for throwing on before/after the gym. Oversized and cozy, but trendy. The split makes it a little more edgy, too!

The most comfortable velvet wrap top you’ll ever own! Stretchy and soft, this ballerina inspired top is perfect for everyday or on the town with the girls! You can even tie as a knot on the side, or back. Love the versatility with this one! They have 2 colors available.
COLOR POP COAT | WEARING MEDIUM
Isn’t this color dreamy for spring? I have an affinity for coats. I seriously can’t stop buying them. Maybe it’s the Chicago girl in me? Seems like we need one 360 days out of the year! It’s light weight, so don’t expect a heavy fabric (which I personally prefer for warmer, breezy days)
I actually saw this coat on a try-on haul from a celebrity influencer. I thought it was so cute and different while being under $100. A fun pop of color during the dreary months of January-March. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits perfectly.
BOBEAU JESSICA TWIST HEM SLUB TEE | WEARING MEDIUM
OH EM GEE. OK, so if you buy any tee — this is it. Beyond soft, probably the softest tee I’ll ever own. I love the casually gathered twisted knot in front, and the slouchy cut makes it extra flattering. I probably could have gotten away with a small, but I prefer my tees a little oversized. Personally, I’d stick to your original size here! Have you guys ever heard of Bobeau brand before? I feel like I’ve been missing out my entire life! I also got this in white. Staples are important!
CASLON ASYMMETRICAL DRAPE COLLAR TERRY JACKET | MEDIUM
I was looking for a cotton cardigan, and found this one. It’s nothing special, but the perfect on-the-go coverage for everyday. Whether working out, taking Harlow to the library, errands, etc – I just liked the fit of it. Runs a little large, but I prefer this to be on the oversized side! Super soft too! Love this one!
KUT FROM THE KLOTH NATALIE BOOTLEG JEANS | WEARING 29
I am a huge fan of KUT denim. I actually got these from my last try-on haul and they feel like butter on! So many of you guys agreed, because I saw quite a few sales with that one. Naturally, I tried on some simple blue jeans. I liked the color, and fit of these — didn’t end up getting them because I need to have a little control in my life. Got the black pair instead!
