rustic wedding //
9.4.16 // Today marks two years of marriage with my handsome man. We met on the basketball court 6 years ago, and we’ve been teammates ever since. I’ve actually never shared our wedding details on the blog (probably because I got pregnant a few short months after, and life got crazy!) I didn’t want the traditional wedding. Skipped the headache of a wedding party, and kept the guest list under 100. I wanted people there who I legitimately talked with on a daily/monthly basis. It not only brings costs down, but it allows you to celebrate the people in your life who are truly with you on this journey. Quality over quantity, that’s the recipe for friendships. My amazing mom walked me down the aisle, because I don’t have a relationship with my father. I opted for a brunch, had no wedding party and our BFF married us (thanks J!) Day parties are the best, right? As you guys know, I love anything floral. Went for a rustic wedding boho vibe {hence the flower crown} and the details were perfection. Every guest brought home a bouquet of flowers! It was a special under-the-top day, and who doesn’t love a good brunch? So grateful to everyone who celebrated with us! xx Are you guys into a rustic wedding?
