Print Mixing | Skyline view

polka dot skirt

Happy Wednesday, love-bugs. I have been waiting patiently for this adorable polka-dot skirt to come back in stock! (hence the snow in my backdrop — this was shot a couple months ago!) Luckily for you, it’s on sale here. As many of you know, I love experimenting with my wardrobe. A current fashion-favorite is mixing my favorite prints for an edgy play on fabrics. Polka-dot meets floral in this fun shoot with Cedar & Rush. This outfit is perfect for those chilly nights, and casual outings with the family. I was so excited to show her my favorite spot in Chicago — It literally overlooks the entire Chicago skyline (If you’re visiting us soon, make sure to drop me an e-mail so I can share my favorite spots!) Also: Stay tuned for my Chicago guide on Heart of Chic coming soon!

Side-note: I’m headed to my favorite place in the world tomorrow — Frankfort, Michigan! It’s about a 6-hour drive from Chicago and a great way to recharge those batteries in the wilderness! I am such a sucker for nature (quite the difference from Chicago, ha!)
