Happy New Year, babes! (Well, almost!) I’m a bit sad to close the 2015 chapter — it was truly my best year yet; personally and professionally! For starters: I left my corporate job! It was a huge leap of faith, and although challenging, one of the best decisions I have ever made. I got engaged to my best friend in Michigan; the most magical engagement. (Still can’t staring at this rock!) I worked with brands like: Sears, Tommy Hilfiger, Macy’s, Target, Starbucks, Lyft & more! I started writing for Glitter Guide, Whitney Port & Ashley Tisdale. (Working on a press page, will be up soon). It has also been the most successful year for Heart of Chic to date! I am so incredibly grateful for all of you! Thanks for your continuous support as I navigate through those crazy/stressful/beautiful days! I couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you (including my amazing fiancé who takes 95% of these photos!) Gush fest over!
As for tonight — I am going to a dinner with friends, followed by an epic board game battle. I have never been a fan of NYE, but I’m definitely looking forward to some champagne, laughs, competition & a fresh start in t-minus 6 hours. Obviously, no matter what the occasion (or location) I had to dress up, duh! I gasped when I saw this little hot pink ruffled dress number. Vibrant, girly & classy — just what I need to ring in the new year! PS: It was 25 degrees when I shot this, so I paired with this faux fur jacket (on major sale!) to keep me all warm and tingly! Personally, the dress looks even better sans coat! Miami: I’m coming for you soon! Chicago has been naughty! (Wah!) Anyway — I hope you all have an amazing 2016! Safe travels to you! xx
