It’s not every day that you get the chance to meet an iconic legend. Flashback to last week when I had the pleasure of meeting THE Jaclyn Smith (original Charlie’s Angel) to shop her new collection with Sears in Oak Brook. The Sears Oak Brook was recently renovated and is now open in a beautiful, sparkling new 16,000 SF space. It’s the ultimate stop for holiday shopping with something for everyone on your list (yourself included!) Sears has undergone many changes in the past, and I’m happy to see the brand continuing their efforts to stay trendy and current. After all, the store has been around since 1886 – it’s iconic, legendary and part of many families’ stories. It definitely feels right at home in Oak Brook!
OK, back to Jaclyn Smith. She couldn’t have been nicer. She is personable, generous and down to earth. She even bought Harlow a baby gift! She’s such a beautiful person inside and out, and was there to celebrate the opening with a special Meet & Greet Her collection features clothes (perfect for day/night), home decor, baby and more. Make sure to check out my sweet friend, Johanna, modeling some of her favorite pieces from Jaclyn’s collection. Aren’t they cute?
WHAT DID I GET FROM SEARS?
I actually picked up my first ever NutriBullet from the grand re-opening. Again, another reason why I love this store — you can find just about anything you’re looking for. Whether it’s a big time purchase like an appliance, tech, home goods – they truly have it all. I am excited about the NutriBullet because it’s easy cleaning! I rarely take my current blender out because it’s bulky and quite frankly – a pain to clean. You can even drink it out of the same cup you make it in, love that! If you guys use this, let me know your favorite smoothie recipes in the comments. I’m on the hunt for some yummy ones!
What are some of your earliest memories at Sears? I’d love to hear below! xx
