GENEVA COMMONS | HOLIDAY ONE STOP SHOP
Before I jump in, enter my giveaway for a chance to win $100 gift-card to Geneva Commons! (pick up locally!)
I’ve been shopping at Geneva Commons for many years, so when they reached out to work together — I was elated! It’s truly a one-stop-shop. Everything from home decor, sporting goods, pets, boutiques, toys, restaurants & more. It would make a fun day-trip from the city (about 45 minutes) They also do an incredible job of hosting complimentary family events throughout the year. Some of these events include:
- Holiday Tree Lighting: I just attended last week. They had Santa and Mrs. Clause on a sleigh for photos! Complimentary hot cocoa and caroling. It was such a fun event with the kids, and the tree is beautiful!
- Halloween Trunk-or-Treat: We also attended the Halloween event where they had a petting zoo, story-time, classic car show & trunk-or-treating for the littles! It was such a fun time and the turnout was incredible. So many families!
- Holiday Vintage Market (upcoming on December 18th, 2021 at 11am-6pm): You can shop from over 30 vendors, selling the best vintage picks and finds around! A great chance to support small.
- ‘Be Uncommon’ Sculpture: Any time you take a picture of this new sculpture created by Chicago’s own, Matthew Hoffman, and upload a photo using hashtag #BeUncommonGeneva — they will donate $2 to the Rising Lights Project to increase awareness, education and to create new opportunities to keep those with disabilities engaged and connected. Click this link for more info! It’s ongoing.
You can find a full shopping guide here (they have dozens of retailers) // some of my current favorites are Barnes & Noble, Wet Nose (the cutest pet store around), Color me Mine (a great way to keep kids busy through art), American Eagle, Express, Williams Sonoma & Athleta! I’m also including a calendar of current sales/specials! So many wonderful retailers in our backyard — so grateful to have them all!
Also be sure to stop by Learning Express Toys for holiday gifting! Their TikTok account has gone viral several times, I’m like ‘I KNOW THEM!’ ha! They have some of the coolest, curated toys year round. It’s where we always get birthday gifts, too! It always feels great to support local.
