Happy Friday! The sun is shining, and 80’s are finally in the forecast. I’m about to close my computer down for a much needed vacation! I can’t wait to share where we’re headed next week! The highlight of the week was seeing some of my favorite blogger babes: Lauren, Kelly, Blair, Maya & Kira. We enjoyed delicious eats at Quartino, one of my favorite spots to hang with the girls. We’re talkin’ pizza, pasta, wine (lemonade for this mama) and the most delicious olive oil/bread (mmmm, my favorite!)
In all honesty, it was a tough week. I think my pregnancy hormones are getting the best of me, but I’ve been told it gets better. Can anyone else relate? Oh, and Master of None finally came out on Netflix, so I’m eagerly awaiting my husband’s arrival to binge the entire season. I’m obsessed with it!
ICYMI: I started a new Friday favorites series last week (catch the last post here). All of my favorite posts from the week, and some extra inspiration to send you into some sunshine and relaxation. I’ve been working hard on curating my Pinterest, so definitely give it a follow, and join the fun! Happy Mothers Day weekend, all! Hope you enjoy it! xx
My most favorite link of the week is a home tour from Geneva, IL on A Beautiful Mess. Does anyone else get excited when they see their town featured? My husband and I recently moved to the western suburbs of Chicago, and I absolutely love it. PS: I need to hire this gal! Isn’t her home dreamy? She actually hand painted some of the walls. Can you imagine what it would look like if I did that? Let’s not go there …
I shared a fun lemon roundup earlier this week, and I’m crushing on this hue for summer. Gimme all of the yellow, and sunshine!
I must have missed Rach Parcell’s kitchen reveal, but holy cow! Gold hardware, marble backsplash, granite galore and that ceiling light! We recently purchased our first home, so I’ve been stalking Pinterest for all of the ideas. I love the idea of floating shelves, and glass cabinetry so I may have to get my hard hat on and do it myself! (wait, no, that would be a horrible idea)
If you’re in need of a last minute Mothers Day gift, and you’re local — Check out Flowers for Dreams. They have the most stunning warehouse in Chicago, and their bouquets never disappoint. In fact, they created one for my wedding (will share photos soon). Can’t wait to give my mama some beauty this weekend. Oh, and they donate 25% to a local charity. I mean, how cool is that?!
Blair over at the Fox & She shared her grocery list. I don’t know what it is, but it’s always so fascinating to see what other people are picking up! Our lists definitely look a little different, ha — but I’m (slowly) working on eating healthier, especially with a baby girl on the way.
My favorite find of the week is this gorgeous Free People embroidered dress. I know, you’re probably off-the-shoulder’d out with me, but it’s such a great pregnancy uniform. Looks so cozy, too.
